I’ll close my eyes for every time the world sees through me
I’ll pretend to be asleep every time a star starts to cry
I’ll be sure to let everything in before I close the windows
I’ll be trying to stay alive by breathing every single piece of air that’s left
I’ll ignore all the signs that make feel dead and create all new things to make me stay close by
I’ll build a house
I’ll keep on dancing
I’ll still with the silence underneath the sound of rain
I’ll begin to believe in something
I’ll start to listen to God and maybe I can begin to speak to who is closer to me
I’ll keep on fighting the world
I’ll keep on facing the waves and standing alone
I’ll keep on listening to the very last breath of all things
In the shadow or in the sun
Through winds and sand storms
I’ll stay sober to feel the whole pain deep inside
I’ll try not to be afraid, even when walking barefoot on fire
I’ll try to stand firm, even in absolute loneliness
I’ll keep on trying. I’ll keep on fixing. I’ll keep on making mistakes.
